Choosing a Story Pack
Fifteen worlds is a lot of choice. Here is how families actually pick.
Story Packs set the world, the supporting cast, and the companion animal. They do not set the hero, the problem, or the ending. So the choice is about mood and age, not about what the story will be.
Start with one
Most families start with Woodland or Ocean. Both suit a wide age range and both have gentle companions. Add a second pack when your child starts naming places the first world doesn't have.
By what your child talks about
- Animals and gardens: Garden, Farm, Meadow, Woodland
- Vehicles and machines: Town, Space, Farm
- Big adventures: Jungle, Island, Mountain, Desert, Castle
- Winding down: Night, Snow, Ocean
- Dinosaurs: Long Ago
Packs for bedtime specifically
Night is written to be read last. Its pages are quieter, its problems smaller, and its endings always land somewhere sleepy. Snow and Ocean work the same way with a little more going on.
Packs are physical
A pack is a small card that slides into the side of the box. Children can swap them, lose them, and find them under the sofa. We sell replacements, and every pack also works on any other MirthTale, so packs can be lent between families.
