Working at MirthTale
A small team in Berlin. We are not hiring quickly, and we are careful about who we ask.
MirthTale is a small team: hardware engineers, an illustrator, a former kindergarten teacher, and a lot of parents. We work from a workshop in Berlin and we test everything at bedtime.
What we look for
- People who have read to a child recently and have opinions about it.
- Engineers who like mechanisms more than dashboards.
- Writers who can write for a two-year-old without writing down to them.
- Anyone who thinks the screen should go dark.

We publish roles here when we have them. There are none open at the moment. If you think we should be talking anyway, write to hello@mirthtale.com with what you would do here and the last book you read aloud.
How we work
Four days in the workshop, one wherever you like. Prototypes over slide decks. Every new person spends a week reading with families before they build anything.
